Processing project
This interactive Processing program involves white noise. There is a lowpass filter in the x position and a highpass filter in the y position of the mouse, which causes the sound to change depending on the position of the mouse. The lowpass filter lets in more high frequencies as x increases and the highpass filter lets in more low frequencies as y increases. The grid is made out of a 2D array on a black background which displays a grid of squares in random and ever-changing grayscale colors, similar to TV static. The cells in the grid become bigger as x increases and smaller as x decreases. The grid becomes brighter as y increases and darker as it decreases.
